Ludger A. Gueringer, March 26, 1923 to July 10, 2010, Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010. Deacon "Lu" as he was known, was ordained in 1977 and last served at Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo where he lived.

He was predeceased by his son, Willis, in 2004, and is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Gueringer; son, Bill; daughter-in-law, Mariko; grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, David, James, Jennifer and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Joseph; sister, Rose; brothers, George and Henry; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 17, and the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Padre Serra Catholic Church at 5205 Upland Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012. Interment following at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345.
