| Jones, James Burnett II |
|
James Burnett Jones II was born on June 06, 1975 to Doris June Jones and James Burnett Jones in Los Angeles. James was the youngest of four children. As a young man, James enjoyed playing video games, playing football, baseball and soccer. At the age of nine James' mother passed and he moved to Oxnard where he lived with his (Mother) Aunt Maria Thomas and (Pops) Uncle Donald Barber. James attended Monte Vista Intermediate Junior School, were he met his wife, Kathleen Heather (Brickley) Jones, and he attended and graduated from Rio Mesa High School. James was a wonderful husband and full-time father. He loved his wife, children, family and his dogs dearly. He was dedicated to his family 24/7. He also was a dedicated father, coach, mentor and friend to all that crossed his path. He loved coaching for the Camarillo Cougars and Camarillo Roadrunners (soccer, football and baseball). James also worked for Santa Paula High School as a campus supervisor, where he was easily bribed by food. We will remember his playful nature and lively spirit that would keep you pumped up. He never was ashamed about anything he did or said. He also had a loving and soft heart for people and would do whatever he could to help anyone. We will also remember James' smile that would light up any room he entered. He was preceded in death by his mother (Doris June Jones-Fagan), brother (Duane Oliver Hendrix), grandmother (Rosie Neil Jones-Ware), grandfathers (Tom Barber, Sr.), and (John Lopez) and his best friend King. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 18 years, Kathleen Jones; three daughters, Jasmine (14), Justice (8), and Jaida (6) and one son Jaden (11); his father, James Burnett Jones (Hobbs, New Mexico); two sisters, Kookie (Andre) Williams (Los Angeles); Michelle Jones (Anaheim); two nieces, Ky'Onna Jacobs, Ky'Onta Murray and one nephew, Reginald Murray (Los Angeles); and brother/best friend, Justin Schmidt.
