Marcy Locascio, 55, died Dec. 25, 2011, surrounded by her family in her home in Moorpark.

She was born June 19, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., and raised in Morton Grove, Ill. She was the youngest daughter of the late Gerald and Esther Schneider. Marcy was united in marriage to Frank Locascio on May 28, 1986, in Carmel, Calif., and was happily married for over 25 years. She was a loving mother and wonderful homemaker who loved to spend time with her family, dine out, and watch Dancing with the Stars.

Marcy is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Locascio, and her adoring three children, Jaime (25), Lindsey (21), and Jaclyn (18); her devoted sisters, Harlene Mehrholz and Susan Schneider; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Marcy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Gerald and Esther Schneider, and her devoted sister, Sharon Leichenger.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, at the Griffin Family Funeral Home, 1075 E. Daily Dr., Camarillo, CA 93010, with a reception to follow at Brent's Delicatessen in Westlake Village. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by phone in her memory to the . 1-800-227-2345.
