| Kyle, Kevin Richard |
|
Kevin was born July 16, 1962 in New Jersey to Richard and Carol Kyle of Jersey City. While Kevin was still young, the family moved to Rochelle Park, NJ. Kevin graduated from Hackensack High School and went on to obtain his bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While in college, Kevin worked as an intern for IBM during the summers. After receiving his undergraduate degrees, Kevin decided to head to the warm climate of California to earn his doctorate in Inorganic Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara. He would often tell of his amazement of riding his bike to campus in February amongst the flower blooms. He would make California home for the rest of his life. It was at UCSB that Kevin befriended Ami Richardson. Kevin and Ami remained good friends for several years before circumstances united the two together in love. The couple were married in Goleta on May 8, 1993. Kevin and Ami moved from the Bay Area to Camarillo in July of 1998, shortly after the birth of their first son, Cameron. Kevin was overjoyed to be a first time dad and spent hours with his son at the park after work. This devotion to his children continued when Christopher and Timothy joined the family. Kevin was passionate about science, politics, government, music and enjoying the natural beauty of the outdoors. He maintained a childhood sense of wonder and excitement about the world around him and always had a great sense of humor. Kevin never had a harsh word to say about anyone he knew or the people he worked with. His kindness and support were continuous and unfailing. Kevin was a devoted and loving husband and father and found peace, joy and contentment being with his wife and boys. Kevin is survived by his wife Ami, sons Cameron, Christopher and Timothy, his parents, Richard and Carol Kyle of Divide, CO, sister KellyAnn Joyce, nieces Kaitlyn and Meghann and nephew Brenden of Colorado Springs, CO, and his brother Michael, nephews Mason and Jacob and niece Jenna of El Cajon, CA. Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Scott. "...hand in hand, On the edge of the sand, They danced in the light of the moon The moon, The moon, They danced in the light of the moon."
