Elisabeth passed peacefully in her home evening of May 11th 2021. Mike and Yvonne, her 2 children were with Elisabeth during this time.
Elisabeth grew up in Sudetenland (now Czech Republic) until she and family were ousted, as well as much of the German population towards the end of WWII. Each person was allowed only 70 Kilos each, leaving their homes and possessions behind. They fled to Germany, where they built new lives.
A few short years later, Elisabeth married Sgt. James Trainor (Air Force) in Wiesbaden, Germany.
During James’ 20 year military career, the family relocated several times before claiming their Camarillo home as their “retirement home". There, Elisabeth pursued a short career with electronics. The neighbors knew her love of animals, especially, cats and birds. They often times brought injured birds for Elisabeth to nurture back to health. Eventually, she had an aviary built where she raised a variety of birds.
Elisabeth is also survived by grandson Joshua Trainor and his children Vaughn, Giana and Rowen. Grand-daughter Jaime Morgan and her children Saige, Skylar, Kaden, Jack and great grandbaby,Cason. Her sister, Karoline Hahn remains in Germany near daughter, Sonja Muller and Sonja's sons Kim and Nick.
