Millie Sudden passed away September 29, 2021 in Thousand Oaks.

She was born May 10, 1926 in Sand Bluff, Oklahoma to Fred Floyd and Florence Louise White and was the oldest of six children. She and her family moved to Oxnard,CA when Millie was a young child and remained in Ventura County her entire life except for a few years living in West Covina, CA.

She married Jack McClain and had a son. Jerry. After their divorce, she met John Sudden at General Telephone where they both worked. John, a widower, had two sons - Robert and Mark - whom she loved as her own, then she and John had a daughter, Lynn. The family moved to Thousand Oaks in 1961 and remained there until her death.

Her favorite pastime was shopping, eating out (she hated to cook), and gambling the slot machines, but she loved to be with family and friends the most. She also loved to travel. She and John traveled to many places around the world but her favorite place to go was their second home in South Lake Tahoe. They spent as much time as possible there.

Millie is survived by her children Jerry, and Lynn (Richard); stepsons Robert and Mark (Ladena); five grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Millie was preceded in death by her loving husband John; grandson Sean; sisters Norma Hironymous and Betty Hurt; and her brothers Glenn, Ray, and Ralph White.

Millie was interred at Lompoc Cemetery, Lompoc, CA.
