100 years of music. Teresa DiTullio started playing the violin as a little girl. In her early 20s, she joined the Brodetsky orchestra where she met her husband Justin DiTullio (cellist), and became part of the well-known DiTullio family of musicians. At age 53, she studied with Emanuel Compinsky, one of the renowned violin teachers of the time, to become a violin teacher. Almost 50 years as a teacher, she impacted and touched the lives of her students and their families, many of whom remained close until her final hours.
She is survived by her son Jerry DiTullio; grandchildren Nicole Crutcher, Brandon DiTullio, and Jeffrey DiTullio; and 5 great-grandchildren, Katelin (16) and Jacquelin (11) Crutcher, and Leela (11) Carson (9) and Michael (2) DiTullio.
